The ODC 08 gives 50 webdevelopers the chance to dive into oOS and enable themselves to rapidly build new webapplications and extend existing platforms with new technology as they evolve.

oOS was originally developed in early 2004 for netzcheckers.de the youth portal of the german office for family affairs. In late 2004 it was released as an open source project by hundertelf.

Since then lots of useful, funny, interesting and other applications have been found for oOS and we hope you will find more!

The ODC 08 will start with a keynote, introducing the people, the technology, the future and the rest of oOS. During the conference hands-on workshops will be offered by oOS developers. These will range from using the system asis, to inroducing new technology or APIs to oOS.
